About me

I have been in love with computers since I first touched one in 3rd grade in 1988. I remember my first introduction into programming with Logo. Logo was a language to where you would program the turtle to move and draw lines in using commands and parameters. From that day I was hooked.

At about 10 I built my first computer. It was a 386sx20 Wyse computer. I purchased additional drives and a modem to install. I learned about BBS’s early on and eventually ran my own. From those BBS’s I had my first experience with the internet. Some BBS’s had newsgroup sections to where you could find and search through posts. I made a lot of good friends those days and still keep in touch with a few of them.

During Jr. High and High School I was always the authority when it came to computers. My computer teachers and librarians would come to me to fix all of the computers in the school. I would continiously get pulled out of classes to repair the school’s computers.

After High School I became interested in getting my Microsoft Certifications. I wanted to become a network engineer so I studied and passed enough tests to get my MCP. I started working at an ISP then a few networking equipment manufacturers. While working at these networking companies I jumped back in to programming. I started developing applications that would speed up responding to technical support emails. I reduced the time it took to answer these emails by over 75%.

I later worked at one of the largest electronic’s manufacturer’s in the parts research department. There I saw a huge problem with their global manufacturing. Parts were constantly being substituted in the same models without anyone recording these changes. I built an application that tracked all of these substitutions and reduced repair costs dramatically.

I wanted to be a full time programmer so I started looking for a job where I could do this. I put my resume up on Monster when to my surprise, a friend of mine from the past had found me. He was looking for a php developer. We agreed that I would intern for a month and then see where it would go from there. The month went by fast and I became a Jr. Developer. The company was in the affiliate marketing and internet marketing industry. I soaked up all the industry information like a sponge. I then was promoted to a developer and then later on to lead developer.

And that is my story so far. I am very well versed in development and have a lot of knowledge as far as internet marketing. I know how to build a site, market a site, and make a site profitable. If you have an idea and are looking for someone who can bring it to life and make it profitabble then I am your man.
