RightParts was an application that helped Samsung Electronics deal with their costly problem of providing incorrect parts to their service centers.  Samsung has factories all over the world building the same products but these factories do not always use the same parts in the same models.  There are also different versions of the same model out in the wild.  This creates a huge headache for repair people when they go out to repair a model and end up having the wrong parts.  I saw this problem and decided to build an online application that would provide a solution. I developed Right Parts which would take the bill of materials daily from all the models and it would track any changes or new versions.  Now we knew the second any parts had changed in the models.  This saved the company millions in repair expenses.
